HENNESSY
LIMITED EDITION BOTTLE LAUNCH
STORY
To celebrate Hennessy’s 250th Anniversary, and the release of their limited edition Bryan McGuinnes flavor, creative agency BRDG approached us to develop custom apps for their 3 video activation areas: the Entrance Tunnel, the Photon Booth, and the Ultra-Widescreen Theater. Our team developed new tracking methods, implemented user interfaces and designs from BRDG, and provided on-site tech support, to enable these interactive and social environments.
PROGRAMMING CUSTOM SOLUTIONS
THE ENTRANCE TUNNEL
THE ULTRA-WIDESCREEN THEATER
THE PHOTON BOOTH
The Entrance Tunnel featured a Motion Reactive Infrared projection that would reveal color as people walked along the 50-foot wall. A surprise can be discovered when you raise your hands above your head, revealing a pulsating mandala of art above you.
The Ultra-Widescreen Theater is a 40′ Wide Hennessy Theater, which played a 2 minute promotional video for the event. Later into the event the Theater turned into an IMag wall and played a live feed of the stage performance.
The Photon Booth utilized two touchscreens to allow guests to select colors, add logos, and draw kaleidoscopic art which was projected into the Photo Booth area. You could also Text or Email your artwork to yourself or a friend to post to social media.

TECHNICAL ASSURANCE
Imaginex pre-assembled and tested the entire assembly of technology in our studio in College Park, MD. We continuously shared renders and iterated on design with BRDG to ensure quality and expectations are met. We also provided two technicians on site for installation and programming.
CUSTOM APP DEVELOPMENT
Using Touch Designer we developed a user interface for the touchscreen to simulate the artwork of Ryan McGuinness. We enabled guests to share their unique artwork via email and text message by using our click-to-share feature, built utilizing the Twillio API.
SPATIAL PLANNING
Imaginex used a pre-visualization environment to prepare for spatial and rigging logistics. Utilizing 3D CAD software, we were able to predict precise placement of infrared technology and video projectors, all while maximizing the interactive area.
