MAKER FAIRE NYC 2014 – MOTION TABLE

The Motion Table is an integration of media design and interaction for the common table. Using two HD panels and the Kinect 2, Imaginex evolves its surface past the modern day touch screen into a spatially aware centerpiece. This table allows users to paint with their fingers, play air hockey using their cups as paddles, or, when installed as a restaurant table, notify the server when it’s time to refill someone’s drink.
