This is a paid internship position with opportunity for a full-time job offer after 2-3 months.

Creative Coder Roles and Responsibilities:

● Executes projects by translating designs from creative directors into code
● Applies best practices for efficient and effective development; looks for opportunities to
streamline
● Works with UI / UX designers in implementing intuitive user interfaces
● Works closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time to a strong
level of quality and with expectations of high up time
● Keeps the project managers fully informed on problems and progress
● Recommends appropriate technologies for the development of new projects
● Stays current on relevant and emerging technology options
● In crisis, assist the team in pulling together resources to explore alternatives and
ensuring 100% project satisfaction

Creative Coder Technical Skills and Experience Requirements:

● Fluent in Derivative Touchdesigner or
● Fluent in Python, GLSL/OpenGL, or C/C++ and willing to learn Derivative Touchdesigner
Bonus Points if You’re Familiar With:
● C++, C a plus
● OpenFrameworks, VVVV, Processing, Max4Live
● Unity
● Graphics (OpenGL, GLSL), 3D Modeling (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, C4D, Houdini),
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere)
● VJ/Playback Tools (VDMX, Madmapper, Quartz, Isadora, Green Hippo, D3)
● Basic knowledge of event production procedures
● OS: Windows, Linux

Creative Commons – Atrribution License (CC BY) license. A CC BY license is one of the most
accommodating of licenses offered. This license lets us both distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon your work,
even commercially, as long as you credit us, and we credit you, as contributors in the original creation. Both
Imaginex and you are bound by this license type. All CC BY licenses must be approved in writing.

What are the strings attached?

● IP created for Imaginex will be owned by Imaginex, unless a Creative Commons –
Attribution License (CC BY) is granted in writing
● Confidentiality agreement
● 4 month non-compete agreement with clients and competitors from company departure
date
