VISUAL DIRECTION & PROJECTION TECH
OVERVIEW
The Peach Festival, the premier jam and rock festival of the East coast, requested our expertise in visual management and performance to deliver an exceptional experience for over ten thousand fans. Continuing off the production success of Camp Bisco, we oversaw the largest projection mapping ever held at Montage Mountain, transforming the sky into a digital canvas. Imaginex was trusted to execute this feat by providing media servers, visual direction, and on-site creative technicians. The Peach Festival lasted four days and featured acts such as Phil Lesh, The String Cheese Incident, and Joe Russo.
VISUAL DIRECTION
Imaginex supported visual management needs alongside The Peach Festival production director and designer Johnny Goode and Andrew Cass. With such a unique production, it was critical to deliver precise drawings, visualizations, and pixel maps to the headliner acts so they could prepare their sets. Imaginex provided capture and mapping solutions to allow any guest artist to tap into the full potential of the projection area.
PERFORMANCE
To accent the brand of the festival, in-house artist James Johnson created animated short loops and Alan Curtiss captured beautiful drone shots of forestry in Oregon. During the event, we live-mixed these visuals into a psychedelic video show that coexisted with the lighting design.
